we value the people and the meaningful connections built around your WEDDING DAY
We understand that entrusting someone to turn your wedding dreams into reality is an overwhelming thought, but with our approach, it doesn’t have to be that way. Our focus is always on our couples. We maintain open communication throughout the planning journey to ensure every detail is addressed and your envisioned celebration is brought to life, but even better than you imagined.
HOARDER of antiques, Creative force and Big time lover of animals
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Jennifer, the founder and lead planner of Tufts & Toile. Our company name derives from my adoration of French decor and furnishings, more specifically French Country style. Tufts for tufted seating which you’ll find a lot of in our rental collection, and toile (pronounced 'twall') is the French word for linen cloth or canvas. I love subtle feminine details, and the texture and warmth found within rustic designs. I focus on living my life sustainably, and running a business that follows suit.
I’m a wife to a wonderful husband of ten years and a mama to an 8-year-old boy and a miniature Schnauzer. When I have downtime in the warmer months, I’m soaking up all the quality time with my family. But you could also easily find me knee-deep in fine china and furnishings at a local antique market, sitting on my patio with a good book and an oversized mug of Earl Grey, working on updating our 1885 farmhouse or tending to my gardens. These are my happy places beyond work.

“WORKING WITH JENNIFER TRULY FELT LIKE WORKING WITH A FRIEND. SHE IS A FANTASTIC LISTENER AND SHE CARES.
SHE IS ORGANIZED, FRIENDLY AND DEPENDABLE WITH GREAT TASTE IN DESIGN AND SUPERB ATTENTION TO DETAIL. FROM OUR VERY FIRST PHONE CALL CONSULT ALL THE WAY UP TO OUR WEDDING DAY, I WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO EXPLAIN ANY THOUGHT OR IDEA, BIG OR SMALL, AND SHE WOULD JUST GET IT. AND BOY, DID SHE DELIVER! EVERY PLAN WAS EXECUTED PERFECTLY, AND OUR WEDDING DAY WAS SIMPLY STUNNING.”
How Tufts and toile began…
I fell in love with weddings through the planning of my own back in the spring of 2013, and started this journey the following year with a background in photography and set styling and a thirst to be a part of the beautiful world of weddings.
Our wedding photos and video were picked up by blogs I adored like Style Me Pretty and Vineyard Bride. It was an exciting time, and unexpected. I was onto something, discovering a love I never knew existed before. Fast-forward to today, 10 years and over 300 weddings later, I still can’t get enough and fall more in love with each and every new opportunity that comes my way.
As T & T grew, my husband Andrew became my right-hand man on event days. Combining our different skill sets, we found a beautiful balance and a great partnership beyond our marriage.
Meet Andrew
patient husband, master problem solver and hockey fanatic
With degrees in Business Admin and Human Resources, Andrew’s strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and his perseverance and resilience on event days, make him an important member of our team.
When Andrew’s not working, he loves spending time with family, playing hockey with his boys, and discovering amazing vegan meals in the kitchen. He brings his A-game every taco Tuesday. He has an infinite love for 90’s hip-hop music and knows the words to every song you could possibly think of, it’s mind-boggling!
I couldn’t dream of a better partner on event days, and lucky for me, in life. He’s a quick thinker and follows my lead with ease. It’s a husband/wife thing for sure.
